The new campus buildings were designed and constructed to high
environmental standards. Each facility constists of three 3-storey
wings, interconnected by large sloping glass atria and open courtyard
gardens. Utilising advanced technologies and passive solar design
techniques, they are estimated to be some 60% more energy efficient than
buildings on the main campus.

Mansfield i Centre
A 1990s office building which incorporates passive design measures to
reduce energy consumption and costs. The striking design concept
includes a first floor overhang to reduce ground floor solar gain.
Mechanical systems can be monitored and adjusted for optimum energy
efficiency. Roof lights, and narrow plan offices allow for natural
ventilation and cross ventilation into deeper plan offices.
